Welcome to Braşov
Brașov is the municipality of residence of the county of the same name, Transylvania, Romania, consisting of component localities Brașov (residence) and Poiana Brașov. The patron saint of the city is considered to be the Virgin Mary. The statue is located on one of the buttresses of the Black Church, facing the Council House, with the coat of arms of Brasov carved below in relief.
