The city of Pitesti is located in the central-southern part of Romania, between the Southern Carpathians and the Danube, in the northwest of the historical region of Muntenia. The city is at the confluence of the Argeș River with the Doamnei River, at the intersection point of the parallel of 44 ° 51'30 "north latitude and the meridian of 24 ° 52 'east longitude.

From their first intersection, in the eastern Pitesti node, start DN73 towards Brașov (139 km) and DN65 towards Slatina (61 km), and from the latter, in the center of Pitesti start DN67B towards Drăgășani; DN7 and A1 also intersect at the Pitești Nord node, where DN7 continues to Râmnicu Vâlcea. From DN67B, in the west of Pitesti the county road DJ703E starts, which leads west to Moșoaia, Băbana, Cocu and Uda.
